Key Responsibility Areas Area of expertise*specialism*portfolio of work To oversee reception staff (1 other) in providing an efficient and comprehensive reception & housekeeping service. · To create and maintain staffing rotas and arrange appropriate emergency cover. · Ensure that security passes are checked and that only authorised persons are permitted entry, and that visitors are signed in and out. · To maintain the reception& kitchen areas in a safe tidy & professional manner and to carry out regular floor inspections throughout the day. · To service meetings rooms, to include practical meeting arrangements such as and ensuring that rooms are in a safe tidy & professional. · To undertake other administrative tasks to include: order and supply essential office and floor consumables and equipment through Office Services Department. § To ensure that the floor is fully accessible and to identify ways of addressing any inadvertent discrimination (eg, Assist disabled visitors and staff as required). § Update safety notices as and when required assisting with various aspects of OS work. Relationship management: § To assist and support the Office Services team and maintain close working relationships with appropriate external agencies and networks § To act as first point-of-contact for the office services team , following-up requests for information and responding to routine queries. Team activities: § To work collaboratively with team members, and to take part in cross-departmental working teams as required, to meet organisational objectives. Compliance and financial management: § To carry out all duties within parameters agreed with the line manager, and in accordance with appropriate statutory procedures
